So for a year and a half we spent a lot of time traveling as North as Bear Lake, to as South as St. George, and we discovered many fun and beautiful destinations. If you do the hike starting at the trailhead via Zion Ponderosa rather than through Zion National Park , you get to skip all the steep switchbacks, making it only a 3.
